I retired the theme “Back to Basics” — it was built on an older framework that no longer met the stringent requirements for modern WordPress installations. My lastest theme — Old Book — the theme this website uses — is now ready for public download. It’s pending inclusion in the WordPress theme repository.

Old Book was inspired in part by…well…old books and newspapers. Despite its ancient, simplistic appearance, it’s actually a modern HTML5/CSS3 theme that still supports older browsers (although there are a couple of issues with IE6 and IE7 — which you shouldn’t be using anyway).

You can download Old Book below. It’s set up to work out of the box with Yoast’s SEO plugin for meta title modification, and its use is recommended. It is, without a doubt, the most powerful SEO system for WordPress.
